Participant Forms and Documents

Each applicant must complete and return the forms for the research project in which they are participating (Energy Internet Demonstration or Home Energy Research).

Forms can be returned:
(1) as PDFs to participate@pecanstreet.org,
(2) by mail to Pecan Street Inc., 3925 West Braker Lane, Austin, TX, 78759, or
(3) by drop-off at the front desk of Mueller Central.

If you would like to find out whether you are eligible to participate in any of our research projects, please email participate@pecanstreet.org.

Participant Packets

Energy Internet Demonstration Participant Packet. This file contains all the forms that each participant of the Energy Internet Demonstration must execute to enroll in the project. Homeowners in the Mueller community and its surrounding area may sign up to participate in this study, a 2-year commitment.

Home Energy Research Participant Packet. This file contains all the forms that each participant of the Home Energy Research project must execute to enroll in the project. Homeowners throughout Austin may be eligible to take part in this study, a 12-month monitoring of older homes’ energy efficiency. Enrollment for the Home Energy Research study is closed; this packet serves as a reference for existing volunteers in the program.

2010 Pecan Street Report of Recommendations.  Published in March 2010, this report concluded the initial Pecan Street Project workgroup’s effort and offers recommendations for accelerating the smart grid industry in Central Texas.
